How to install

From zero to playing in a few steps.

What you need

System	Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
Free disk space	About 30 GB (14 GB download + 14 GB installed)
Memory	16 GB RAM recommended
Graphics (minimum)	DirectX 12 card: NVIDIA GTX 1660 / AMD RX 5600
Graphics (recommended)	NVIDIA RTX 3070 / AMD RX 6700 XT or better
Wallet	Phantom browser extension or app
To unlock	$5 in GGC, or $10 in SOL. Before the GGC launch: $10 in SOL only. Keep a little SOL for the network fee.

1. Unlock the game

1. Open game.grandgangstacity.com in the browser where Phantom is installed.
2. Click Connect Phantom and sign the message. Signing is free and sends nothing.
3. Click Pay $5 with GGC (cheapest) or Pay $10 with SOL and approve the transaction in Phantom. The GGC is burned forever, not sent to anyone.

2. Download

1. Click Download for Windows. You get two files: GrandGangstaCity-Setup.exe (small) and GrandGangstaCity-Setup-1.bin (about 14 GB).
2. Download both into the same folder, for example Downloads. Setup needs the .bin file next to it.
3. If the big download stops, resume it from your browser's downloads list. The links work for 24 hours. After that, come back and click Download again (you won't pay twice).

3. Install

1. Double-click GrandGangstaCity-Setup.exe.
2. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway. This appears for new games that are not yet widely downloaded.
3. Click Yes when Windows asks for permission, choose a folder and click Install. It installs the required Microsoft runtimes too.
4. When it finishes, tick Play Grand Gangsta City now or use the desktop shortcut.

4. Connect your wallet in the game

1. On the first screen click Connect. Your browser opens with a code.
2. Approve that code with the same Phantom wallet you paid with.
3. Back in the game, press Play. The game remembers your wallet next time.

5. Earn and claim GGC

• Every enemy you take down earns 50 GGC. You see "+50 GGC" at the top of the screen.
• Claim your GGC on this website: connect the same wallet and click Claim kill rewards. It is sent straight to your Phantom wallet.
• There is a daily earning limit and a minimum amount per claim.

Problems?

• "Setup-1.bin not found": the two files are not in the same folder. Move them together and run Setup again.
• Antivirus deletes or blocks the game: restore it and add the game folder as an exception.
• "Couldn't reach the GGC server" in the game: check your internet connection and try Connect again.
• "This wallet doesn't own the game yet": you linked a different wallet. Click Disconnect, then Connect with the wallet you paid with.
• The game is slow: lower the graphics settings in the game menu and close other heavy programs.
